Broiled Tomatoes




Not my favorite recipe from this book, but it was a good way to use up some of my garden tomatoes. If you happen to love fresh tomatoes and have extra on hand, this would be a great way to use some of them up. Don't be afraid of the broiler as it can be your best friend when making new and interesting recipes. Make sure to use nice ripe, red tomatoes and I think big beef steak tomatoes would have been wonderful broiled and put on top of my hamburger for a different taste than just a plain tomato. Use your imagination with this one, and let me know in the comments what you are planning to use or serve them with.
